Art Teacher at Ridgefield Memorial High School

My name is Miss Zuniga and I have had the pleasure of teaching at Ridgefield Memorial High School since 2021. I am currently teaching the following courses: AP Drawing, AP 2D Design, Computer Art 1 & 2, and Art Appreciation for our learning center students.

I received my BA in Art Education from Montclair State University with a concentration in drawing. I also have a MSED in Art Education from SUNY New Paltz, where I concentrated in painting. My passion for art and learning new things has brought me to digital artmaking and I look forward to challenging myself creatively along with my students. I believe all students are capable of creating art that is engaging, thoughtful, and personal. The art classroom is a place where students are able to express themselves and find comfort in the fact that there are no right or wrong answers in artmaking. 

When I’m not teaching or making art, you will most likely find me spending quality time with family, friends, and my dog Winnie. Some of my other hobbies include reading, playing video games, and visiting new places.
