About Me

My name is Michael Zunick, and I have been teaching for 25 years!  I currently teach Biology, Honors Biology, and AP Biology.

 

I graduated from University of Delaware with a BA in Biology and from Wilmington University with an MEd in Administration and an MEd in Educational Technology.  I have been at RMHS since 2004 and was promoted to Department Chairperson in 2011.  

 

My teaching goal is to challenge students and help them reach their potential while developing a love for biology.  In addition to teaching, I am the Department Chairperson for math, science, and business.  I oversee the Ridgefield STEM Academy and the Ridgefield Business Academy.

Outside of school, I enjoy outdoor activities, such as jogging, bike riding, and camping.  I also really love cooking and baking.  In my free time, you will often find me at a softball or soccer field, coaching or cheering on my daughter.  My son recently graduated high school and is now away at college.
