Hello, my name is Mrs. Saverino and this is my third year as the RTI teacher at Slocum!  

I work with students in small groups in ELA and Math in grades 3rd, 4th and 5th. I have been teaching for twelve years.  I have a P-3 and K-6 teaching certification from William Paterson University.  I enjoy helping students find success in reading and various math skills.  As a hands-on learner myself, I like to use a lot of manipulatives and various activities to make learning fun.

I have lived in New Jersey all of my life.  I have two children and I enjoy spending time with my family, baking, reading, spending time outdoors and watching movies.
