My name is Joel Werner, and I am a 5th-grade teacher at Slocum Skewes. This school year marks my 24th year teaching in Ridgefield, and I can honestly say, I still love what I do!

 

I earned my teaching degree at Montclair University. The moment I stepped into my own classroom, I knew immediately that I had chosen the right career for me. Being around children.... priceless!
