Dr. Jennifer Rupprecht, R.M.H.S.
Hello! My Name is Dr. Jennifer Rupprecht and I currently teach World History and Earth Science to the 9th graders, Personal Finance to the 12th graders, and Transition & English to mixed grades. This is my 33rd year in Ridgefield-I have taught in all 4 Ridgefield schools.
I have a BA in English/Secondary Education from Rowan University, a Masters in Education from William Paterson University, a Master of Arts from NJ City University, and a PhD in Language, Literacy, and Learning from Fordham University. I also hold a Supervisory Certificate.
In my classroom, students' voices are heard. I encourage them to take chances and open their minds to new experiences. My favorite part of teaching is seeing a student's face light up as he/she experiences an "a-ha" moment. I enjoy watching the students grow from freshman right up to senior year, becoming confident young men and women.
I have 4 children of my own- Charles is starting his first year of teaching, William is studying Communications, Alexandra is going to school to become an elementary teacher, and Isabella, my youngest, (still in HS) is hoping to study Culinary Arts.
I enjoy reading, traveling, volunteering at the food pantry, and everything and anything related to cats.
I look forward to a successful school year. Feel free to reach out with any comments, questions, or anything you think will help your child have a positive experience here at RMHS.
