STRIVE: Mrs. Wietecha

I am a Special Education Teacher in the STRIVE Program. The STRIVE Program is our transition program for adults ages 18-21.  I have been teaching at Ridgefield Memorial High School for 23 years.  I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, a Master's Degree in Special Education and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership all from William Paterson University.  

My passion as a teacher is to help students obtain the skills they need to be successful after completing the STRIVE Program.  I believe in a very individualized approach to instruction for individuals in the STRIVE Program. Each student has their own short and long term goals and the STRIVE Program provides an opportunity for them to work towards those goals and put in place the skills they need and the supports they will need to be successful.
