Deena Reynoso- ICS

Hi!!! My name is Deena Reynoso.  For the 2025-2026 school year I am a 9th-11th grade In-class support teacher at Ridgefield Memorial High School. I've been teaching for 13 years, 10 of which was spent as a Health and Physical Education teacher until I made the transition to special education teacher 3 years ago.  I am reminded each day why I chose the path of education and helping students.

I earned my Bachelors of Science  for K-12 in Health and Physical Education from Montclair State University and I'm currently on the road to attain my CE in Teacher of Students with Disabilities from Felician University.  My teaching philosophy fosters a culture of respect,
kindness, and inclusivity.  Every student's voice is valued and open discussions are encouraged where everyone feels comfortable expressing their thoughts and opinions without fear of judgment.

Outside of teaching I also coach volleyball at RMHS.  I am a wife and a mom, we have 2 children, a 7 year old son and 6 year old daughter.  When I am not teaching or coaching we enjoy visiting coffee shops, listening to music, and spending time making and creating memories through experiences, including going to the beach, playing sports, and our most favorite being the baseball stadium tour following the New York Yankees around the country.
