Hello! My name is Mr. Aufiero, and I’m proud to be an 8th-grade science teacher here at Slocum Skewes. I grew up in Ridgefield and graduated from RHMS in 1994. I had the pleasure of returning to Ridgefield in 2014, where I’ve been teaching ever since.
I earned my B.A. from The College of New Jersey in 1998 and a Master's from Seton Hall University in 2000.

My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive, hands-on learning environment where all students feel valued, confident, and capable of achieving success.
I have been married for 24 years and have a 21-year-old son and 17-year-old daughter.
