Functional Academics Teacher STRIVE Learning Center Program  Ridgefield Memorial High School

 

I teach Functional Academics in the STRIVE Learning Center in Ridgefield Memorial High School for students ages 18-21. I have taught students in  the high school special education learning center for over thirty years. I have a Bachelors of Arts in Elementary and Special Education form La Salle University and a Masters of Education in Learning Disabilities form William Paterson University.  I enjoy teaching students  the practical academics that they need for their daily living skills.  I take students to the local library and work to help them develop an interest in reading. I read  and swim during my free time.  I enjoy watching the Yankees and Knicks and love my time at the beach and Lake George.
