Ms. Ann Behrens

PE/Health Teacher, Ridgefield Memorial High School

 

Hello! My name is Ms. Behrens, and I'm proud to be a PE/health teacher here at Ridgefield Memorial High School. I have been teaching for 11 years and this will be my 8th year in Ridgefield.

 

I earned my B.S. in Health and Exercise Science from The College of New Jersey and my M.S. in Kinesiology from Montclair State University. I hold a K-12 PE/Health Teaching Certificate as well as a Drivers Education Teaching Certificate.

 

In 9th grade PE/Health, I focus on creating a fun, supportive space where students can learn to take care of their bodies and minds. I want them to build healthy habits, stay active, and feel confident making smart choices. I enjoy teaching 9th grade because students are figuring out who they are and are open to learning new things. It’s awesome to see them grow, work together, and gain confidence throughout the year.
