At the Board of Education meeting on Thursday, October 24, 2019, the Superintendent of Schools and Curriculum Department presented a presentation on Ridgefield Public School District testing data. The data that was presented included reports of the scores for all students who participated in the NJSLA, DLM, Access for ELLs, the SAT, and our AP testing. The NJSLA data was reported for students in grades 3 - 11 in English/Language Arts and grades 3 - 8 in math. Additionally NJSLA scores were reported for end of course tests in Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry at the high school level. The current data from Ridgefield students was presented over the past three years to determine student progress within the district and compared to students throughout the state of NJ. The data from NJSLA testing was compared to student test data within the PARCC. The information from all of the standardized testing results will be used within our classrooms to address areas of need in both curriculum and instruction.
