At the Board of Education meeting on Janaury 5, 2017, Ms. Janet Seabold, Mrs. Anna Georgiou, and Mrs. Santina Alleyne presented information on the implementation of the new reading program that was adopted this year in grades K - 5, Mondo Bookshop.  This reading program is aligned to the Reader's and Writer's Workshop Model of instruction as introduced through Columbia University.  It is the final component of the English/Language Arts programming at the primary and elementary levels.  The district previously invested in Being a Writer for the writing component and Recipe for Reading for word study.  If you would like more information regarding the presentation, please click on the link below:
