    Let's Communicate!
Expressive and receptive language are the key components in being able to connect with others and build relationships through exchanging ideas and information and expressing emotions and needs.  Vocabulary development, word knowledge, active listening, and constructing meaning from messages are all essential in content learning and communicating in varied contexts including the classroom, the home, and the community.  These are a few of the many things focused on during speech therapy that will be targeted through engaging activities to enhance both communication and learning throughout your child's environment.
