Student Council Expectations

   Being a member of Slocum Skewes Student Council is a privilege and a big responsibility. Student Council members are student leaders and are expected to act as such at all times. Members of the student council are held to a high standard both academically and behaviorally. In order to participate in student council, all members must sign a contract and adhere to the expectations.

If a student is unable to meet the requirements listed, they will be asked to step down from the student council and their homeroom will select a new representative. If the president is required to resign, the vice president will assume those responsibilities. If any other officer needs to resign, then the student council will appoint a student from the council to complete the term of that position.
