I am a Mathematics Teacher at Ridgefield Memorial High School. I have been at RMHS since January of 2001. I love teaching and helping my students understand mathematics.
Philosophy of Education:
As a teacher, it is important to still be a student learning how to teach. A teacher needs to be a lifelong learner to be able to teach effectively year after year. There are always changes in education and technology. An educator needs to learn these changes to help students to be prepared for the future. Also, teachers need to reflect upon their own teaching so they can see where they can improve their styles and be able to get across to more students. No teacher possess all knowledge, but by reflecting on your own teaching, and learning how to become a better teacher, you are improving the quality of education you are giving to your students.
