General Information:
The Thornton Sisters Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation organized for the purpose of annually providing one-year educational scholarship(s) to deserving young females of color. The Foundation will be sending this information to public high schools within the State of New Jersey. Consequently, any female who satisfies the student requirements should be allowed to apply. (See requirements below).
The scholarship(s) shall be used to contribute to the students' college tuition and/or books depending upon the amount of funds available to the foundation for that fiscal year. All completed applications with their supporting documents must be postmarked no later than May 7 of each calendar year. Incomplete applications will NOT be considered.
The enclosed original application may be duplicated by the school's guidance counselor. Any student who has or will receive a full scholarship at any time should not apply. All awards will be presented at the Foundation's Annual Banquet, and the finalists will be notified prior to the formal Awards ceremony.

Bergen County Curriculum Consortium (BCCC)
It is that time of year again for the Bergen County Curriculum Consortium (BCCC) to send out this year's scholarship information. Please forward the following information to your school district's school counseling office or other appropriate office.
The Bergen County Curriculum Consortium will award three (3) scholarships at $1000.00 per scholarship as follows:
· A student who will attend a 2 or 4-year college
· A student who will attend a vocational or technical school
· A student who will attend a college, vocational, or technical school as well as completed the FAFSA and demonstrates financial need
The student applicant must meet the following criteria.
· Attends a public high school in Bergen County in a district represented in BCCC.
· High school senior eligible to graduate in June 2024
· Be accepted to a 2 or 4-year college, a vocational or technical school (evidenced by a letter of commitment to receive the scholarship funds)
The application process is as follows:
1. Complete this application form, and upload an essay and letter of commitment by Friday, April 5, 2024
2, Share the BCCC recommendation link to be completed and submitted by Friday, April 5, 2024.

March Scholarships
Below you will find a list of 15 Scholarship Programs available to your students. More than 850 Individual
Scholarships will be distributed through these 15 Programs. Students from your school are eligible for all
awards below.
