I have been working at Ridgefield Memorial High School since 2003. Before coming to RMHS, I taught at Union High School in Union, NJ.  At RMHS, I not only teach language arts to our high school students, but I am also the Liberal Arts Department Chair.  I received my Bachelor's degree from Seton Hall University and shortly after I received my Master's degree from Kean University.  I truly enjoy teaching and there is no greater satisfaction than seeing my students grow academically and socially. Aside from teaching, I also enjoy being a mother to my two girls. 

Educational Philosophy: I strongly believe that a teacher's role is to guide and motivate her students to follow a path that ends in success. Each student is unique and, therefore, has different interests. It is the responsibility of the teacher to tap into those varied interests so that students are actively engaged in the classroom. It is only when the students are interested in  the lesson that learning occurs.
