I am the Vice Principal at Ridgefield Memorial High School.
I began teaching for the Ridgefield School District in 2006. I have taught at the high school, in both self contained and general education classroom settings, and have also spent time teaching at the elementary level. I was fortunate enough to coach baseball and softball for over 10 season as well.
I hold a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Seton Hall University. I also hold a Mater's Degree in Special Education from New Jersey City University and an advanced degree in Education Leadership from Long Island University.
I see a wide range of skills and abilities in the classrooms every day at Ridgefield Memorial High School. The important thing to remember is that each student learns at a different pace and in different ways. You have to be able to adapt, so that all students are engaged. This means to differentiate your instruction and approach and try to find ways to involve all students. Some ways may be more successful than others, but you can not be stalled by failure or inefficiency. You have to continue to try!
