"Children should be taught how to think, not what to think." -Margaret Mead

My name is Terri deLyon (pronounced "dee-lion"), and I am the ELA Resource teacher.  I have been teaching for over ten years in many different grade levels and settings.  I am delighted to be beginning my 9th year teaching in Ridgefield.  I attended Rutgers University and St. Thomas Aquinas College.  I am certified in Elementary Education K-8, as well as Special Education K-12, and I hold a Master's degree in Literacy. I am currently pursuing an Advanced Certification in Educational Leadership.

When I am not at school, I am a wife, mother of a very busy 14 year-old, and I volunteer as an Emergency Medical Technician in my local ambulance corps.
