Ridgefield School District, located in Bergen County, New Jersey, is a supportive and diverse community which assures every student the opportunity for academic, creative, physical and social development. This is achieved through a variety of school and community experiences in a respectful and safe environment. These goals seek to encourage and support discovery, exploration, and introspection so that each student is empowered to fulfill his/her maximum potential.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all of the students, teachers, staff, community members and Board of Education for their assistance in passing the Ridgefield School Budget by an unprecedented 63% margin.
Obviously, this was more than just a regular election. To me, last night symbolized the degree to which our residents honor and support our public schools. In this time where some have chosen a simplistic “slash and burn” mentality toward public schools, I am proud to be a part of a community where people can collaborate and work toward a common purpose – giving our children a world class education.
Again, I wish to express my sincerest gratitude and thank everyone for their support of the Ridgefield Public Schools.
Sincerely,
Robert A. Jack
Superintendent of Schools
