Most of the information you will need to register your child in the Ridgefield School District will be found on this web site, it is advised that you call Mrs. Diana Essbach, Tuition Administrator/Registrar for the Ridgefield Board of Education to obtain all registration applications. We recommend always calling ahead to make an appointment to see Mrs. Essbach for review of all applications.

Proof of Residency must be established before your child may enter the district.

The following documentation is required at the time of registration and may not be substituted with any other documents:

• Child's birth certificate or passport
• Parent's Photo ID
• Telephone Bill( including a Cell Phone)-Showing your name & address
• Your Lease or Deed

In Addition to the above mentioned documents any two of the following:

• Drivers license, car registration and auto insurance(All three counts as one proof)
• Utility Bill(PSE&G, United Water or Cable) Only ONE
• Bank Statement, government correspondence
• Public assistance documents
• Voter registration card
• Any current major credit card bill

Again, name & address must be visible on the bill brought in for proof of residency.
