The Department of World Languages strongly stands by our belief in the importance of World Language studies.  Given the increasingly growing global marketplace, our children will need to function in more than one language and to uphold respectful exchanges with people of other cultures, at the workplace and beyond.

Students enrolled in our courses engage in a variety of communicative activities such as cultural role plays and interviews.  In order to accomplish this, our department team regularly attends innovative professional seminars in an effort to remain up to date with all emergent research studies on language learning. 

Additionally, our World Language Honor Societies further work toward stimulating interest in language studies, give recognition for academic achievement, and promote an appreciation of other cultures and civilizations. In regards to the activities during our International Day, our Honor Societies work together with the department to support International and World Language studies.  During this event students celebrate, explore, and share their heritages with fellow peers.
